Action in the Air

France-based Action Air Environment, who owns a significant fleet of P68 aircraft, contracted with Airborne Technologies (ABT) for the delivery of EASA-certified fixed mounts, and manual lifts for up to seven P68 aircraft, with options for lightweight operator consoles. All modified P68 are presently operational for the French Police and, in line with ABT’s agnostic approach to sensor suppliers, can deploy Merio TM25, Trakka TC300 or MX10 EOIR systems - depending on the mission requirements.

“With more than a dozen P68 integrations in the field of ground survey as well as ground/sea/air surveillance over the past decade, we have a long working relationship with all the various P68 models”, says ABT CEO Wolfgang Grumeth. “We have also delivered a fully missionised P68 for Maritime Police operations in French overseas departments.

The President of Action-Air, Alexis Giordana, added: „We recently delivered fully missionized P68s for ground surveillance in Africa, for border police surveillance of the French overseas departments, and northern French coast as part of rescue missions and surveillance for French borders.“
