Through our partner network we have access to several medium and large format cameras. The choice of format depends on the purpose of the project and parameters such as ground sample distance, image overlapping, size of area, etc.

Aerial images can be used for:

- Orthophotos

- 3d city models

- Urban mapping

- Environmental inspection

Mode of operation:

The digital camera is fixed on a gyro-stabilised mount which compensates for the rotations of the aircraft during the capturing of the images. As with the laser scanning function, an INS and GPS system is responsible for correct position logging. The images can be triggered fully automatically on the flight path using a flight control system.

Besides the capture of RGB (Red Green Blue) images, CIR (Colour Infra Red) images can also be taken during the same flight (if using UltraCam camera equipment).
